Chrowns of Thorns

I chose this subject and scenario mainly for my paleoartistic journey, to gain awareness of how I would approach them again after a few years.

In the new version, the animals have been completely re-sculpted, and the texturing has also been entirely redone.

I aimed for a less traditional framing—closer to the action—to give the viewer the impression of being part of the scene. To help achieve this effect, I avoided adding too many background elements, except for the ground and the shadows of conifers. These cast light and dark areas that add rhythm to the composition and draw attention to the bodies of the animals.
